Introducing North Khorasan province
This province was created by the approval of the government in 2013 and after the division of Khorasan province into three provinces. The majority of the people of North Khorasan are Shiites, which include Kurds, Turks and Persians of the province, although a minority of Sunnis (generally Turkmen) also live in the province. The area of this province is 28,434 square kilometers, which is the 15th province of Iran.

Soil Mechanics and Technical Laboratory Company is one of the companies under the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, which has an active presence in 31 provincial general offices, 145 laboratory branches in large cities, and 900 established local units with more than 40 years of experience. North Khorasan Province was separated from Razavi Khorasan Province after the formation of North Khorasan Province and started working independently.
