Quality Management Office Vision:

The Quality Management Office of the Technical and Soil Mechanics Laboratory is committed to promoting, enhancing, and improving the company's quality system. It aims to transform the quality control system into a comprehensive quality management and assurance system by adopting a knowledge-based management approach, efficient human resources, and an integrated structure, utilizing the rich capacities of available software and hardware. The mission of this office is to serve as a guiding unit in achieving the elevation of laboratory services' quality nationwide and regionally, playing a sustainable and effective role in all civil projects.

 

Quality Management System Policy:

The Technical and Soil Mechanics Laboratory, as a subsidiary of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, has played a significant role in enhancing the quality of civil projects in the country for over half a century. It relies on knowledge, experience, and the expertise of its specialized staff, along with optimal utilization of up-to-date technology and equipment, to contribute to sustainable development and preservation of national assets, resources, and energy.

In this regard, the company prioritizes compliance with international quality management standards such as ISO 9001:2015, handling customer complaints (ISO 10002:2018), measuring and ensuring customer satisfaction (ISO 10004:2018), professional health, safety, and environmental management (HSE-MS), and laboratory quality management (ISO 17025:2017). The Quality Management System Policy is hereby declared as follows:

 

1- Continuously improving the effectiveness of quality management systems.

2- Enhancing stakeholder satisfaction with the company's services.

3- Registering and following up on customer complaints to achieve satisfactory outcomes and address their concerns.

4- Continuous improvement of capabilities through effective training, knowledge management, and ensuring the employment of specialized and committed personnel.

5- Adherence to environmental principles and commitment to legal requirements.

6- Commitment to risk management, accident reduction, and enhancing workplace safety and employee health.

7- Ensuring accuracy and precision in conducting tests and calibrating technical equipment based on national and international standards.

8- Increasing operational capacity and capability in providing laboratory services by employing advanced equipment and process engineering.

9- Strengthening relationships and interactions with scientific, research, academic institutions, and specialized entities in the field of laboratory services for construction and civil projects in the country.

10- Striving for excellence in order to improve performance indicators and efficiency.

 

The management and staff are committed to pursuing the above objectives in all aspects of their work and continuously striving for the continuous improvement of all processes and activities. This policy will be reviewed annually and revised as needed.

2- Collaborating, participating, and monitoring the necessary infrastructure to enhance the quality of laboratory services in accordance with national and international standards within the framework of the reference laboratory.

3- Increasing the satisfaction of all stakeholders with laboratory services and establishing constructive interaction with them.

 

Mission of the Quality Management Office:

1- Creating integration and standardization of all work processes in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system.

2- Establishing unity of procedures and evaluating the alignment of all documents, operational methods, objectives, policies, etc., with the requirements of the quality management system.

3- Monitoring, controlling, and auditing the quality management systems of the company and active laboratories in this field.

4- Ensuring the quality of laboratory services by employing the requirements of the quality management system.

5- Continuously improving the quality of laboratory services to meet the needs of stakeholders and customers of the company.
