Referring to the most important construction projects in which Mazandaran's Technical and Soil Mechanics Laboratory played a role during the past year, Karimi said: construction of the 5th section of Qazvin-Almut-Tankabon axis, construction of diversion tunnels and spillway of Heraz Dam, construction of an alternative road to Heraz Dam. Referring to the double performance of Mazandaran's Soil Mechanics and Technical Laboratory last year in improving the quality of construction projects and conducting more than 134 thousand tests, he added: more than one thousand tests of the quality of fine-grained and coarse-grained stone materials, cement and ready-mixed concrete 2 thousand and 64 rebar tensile tests, 48 asphalt and concrete mixing plans, 1,350 non-destructive tests in the form of 103 crew-days, issuing 244 certificates in the field of calibration of laboratory equipment, as well as testing force, temperature, and mass quantities. And the execution dimensions, accuracy and speed have been delivered to employers in accordance with domestic and international standards.

Referring to 2,150 meters of drilling operations in the province, Karimi stated: The geotechnical study of 33 projects was completed last year and the results were delivered to the employers.
