Khorasan Razavi province with an area of about 128,420 square kilometers, equivalent to 7.8% of the country's total area, and consisting of 19 cities, 62 districts, 163 villages and 8,861 villages, has a population of 4,777,000 people. Out of the above population, 2909 thousand people equal to 60.1% live in urban areas and 1858 thousand people equal to 38.9% live in rural areas of the province.

In 1334, this company started its activity for the first time under the name of Jan and Molam Consulting Engineers for the research and study of Iran's soils in the construction of main roads under the title of soil science laboratory in Tehran University of Technology, and after 2 years, this laboratory was under the supervision of the organization The program continued to work by Aman and Whitney for another year and then started working directly under the supervision of the program organization and with new responsibilities and job descriptions. In 1342, based on Resolution No. 4296 of the Board of Ministers, it was named Technical Laboratory of Soil Science. The name was changed.
