The present book is a translation of the first edition of the Asphalt Institute Publication No. 24, titled "Moisture Sensitivity." It was prepared by the Moisture Sensitivity Subcommittee of the Asphalt Institute and was published in 2007. This book addresses the damages caused by moisture in hot asphalt mixtures, including a review of the reasons for moisture sensiativity and stripping in hot asphalt mixtures.
