Technical and Mechanical Soil Laboratory of Gilan Province is one of the 31 branches of the Technical and Mechanical Soil Laboratory Company affiliated to the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development. The technical and mechanical laboratory of Gilan province started its activity in 1348 and by starting several road construction activities, it gradually expanded its activity so that now with the center of this department in the province and with 6 branches located in the cities of 1- Rasht 2- Lahijan 3- Astara, 4- Rudsar, 5- Soumesara and 6- Rudbar, and more than 25 local laboratory units located in various construction projects, the task of providing technical services and quality control, including geotechnical studies, tests, quality of materials, providing plans for mixing concrete and asphalt, quality control during implementation in operations. It is in charge of soil, concrete, and asphalt in these projects .
